โ ๏ธ Important Notice
This list of rules is not exhaustive and may be modified by the Owner or Administrators at any time. Staff members reserve the right to adjust rulings based upon the severity of the situation and the offense committed.
NOTE: Playing on the DeadlyFam Minecraft servers requires that you be an active member, in good standing, of the DeadlyFam Discord server.
๐ข Reporting Incidents
Report any incidents to Minecraft Game Leaders (Kira, StarRunner, Arcit3n, Hannah Renee, or ChrisNorcras) or - if serious enough - escalate it directly to moderators via the #help-desk in Discord.
Our Core Values

Gaming with purpose
1. Chat Behaviour
a) Language
The DeadlyFam Minecraft servers use English as their official language in global chat and on Discord. Continual use of other languages in global chat will be regarded as spam.
b) Spamming
Spamming includes posting repeated messages quickly in chat, repeated nonsense words or characters (e.g., sdhjHsgj3474gfghjghfgs), excessive character drag (e.g., hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii), begging, and repeatedly using commands.
c) Swearing
Swearing will not be tolerated. If a staff member asks you to stop swearing, failure to abide by their request will result in a mute or permanent ban.
d) Sexual/Inappropriate Speech
Overtly sexual comments, slurs, names, or messages that could make others uncomfortable are not permitted.
e) Racial/Offensive Slurs
Racism, sexism, and harassment are expressly forbidden on the DeadlyFam Minecraft servers. Players will receive a permanent mute or be banned upon the first offense.
f) Suicide Jokes/Death Threats
Making death threats towards another player or encouraging suicide (e.g., "Go kill yourself") is expressly forbidden and will result in a permanent mute or ban on the first offense.
g) Heated Arguments
While the staff will make every attempt to not censor the chat, repeated arguments around push-button issues (politics, religion, etc.) will result in a temporary or permanent mute.
h) Offensive Content
As a community-friendly server, inappropriate player names and chat messages will result in a mute. Players will be asked to change their character name. Refusal to do so will result in a ban from the server.
i) Caps
Messages in chat should be typed in lowercase, as a general rule. While an occasional use of caps is acceptable, spamming messages in all caps is not. Players will be warned, and if they continue they will be muted.
j) Trolling
Trolling is the deliberate act of making unsolicited or controversial comments with the intent to provoke a reaction from other players. Trolling and showing a lack of intent to play on the DeadlyFam Minecraft servers is not allowed and will result in a mute or ban.
k) Harassment/Bullying
If a player asks another player to stop doing something directed at them, their request must be respected. Harassing players will likely receive a warning, although immediate punishing action may be taken if the harassment is severe enough. It is in the best interest of the server to keep our global chat clean of player disputes. We strongly recommend that players use the /ignore [player] command if they do not wish to see messages from a particular player.
l) Advertisement
Advertising anything not related to the DeadlyFam Minecraft servers is not allowed. This includes advertising other servers, websites, Discords, or inappropriate websites. As of this time, and in the effort to provide a safe, monitored atmosphere for all server members, asking others to play with you on a private server/world is not permitted. Links may be posted that are appropriate, do not break any other server rules, and will not bring harm to the server or the player clicking on it.
m) Other Behaviour
Some things may not be direct rule violations, but if you continue to go against staff requests, you will be punished accordingly.
2. In-Game Behaviour
a) TP Trapping
Teleport trapping is against the rules. This involves manipulating a player to accept or request a teleport.
b) Scamming
Any kind of scamming is not allowed. Do not attempt to trick or take advantage of other players.
c) Alternate Accounts
As of right now, players are only allowed to have one verified account on the server.
3. Cheating
a) Modified Clients
Modified clients/mods that give any player an advantage over others are not allowed.
- Disapproved Clients/Mods: X-Ray, Hacked Clients, etc.
- Approved Clients/Mods: Minimap (Surface Only), BadLion, etc.
b) Exploiting
Taking advantage of things that are the result of an unintended bug in the server or Minecraft itself is not allowed. This includes taking advantage of dupes (duping), creating lag machines, or anything else that does not seem like it fits within the integrity of the game/server. This also includes attempting to manipulate the server economy in an unfair manner. Reporting exploits to the staff will result in no punishment and potentially a reward.
c) Real World Trading
Exchanging anything related to or on the server for real-life currency/items/services is not allowed.
4. Griefing
a) Stealing
Stealing from other players in any form is not allowed.
b) Raiding/Griefing
Do not intentionally try to destroy or ruin other players' builds. This includes builds on claimed land, the wilderness, and spawn.
c) Claim Blocking
Do not claim land near another player's base or land to prevent them from being able to expand their land.
d) Destroying Land Around Claims
Do not destroy land around a player's claim with the intention of "ruining" the land around it.
e) Inappropriate Builds
Players may not build anything that could be deemed inappropriate. This includes creating pixel art of inappropriate images, inappropriate custom maps, the creation of builds that represent inappropriate things or hate symbols, etc. Ultimate authority on the appropriateness of a build lies in the hands of the Owner or Administrator(s).
f) Wilderness Builds
If you come upon something built in the "Wilderness" (not on a player's claim), contact a staff member before demolishing it/taking any items from chests. The staff member will check who the owner is and ensure that they are notified and allowed to claim their items. If a player cannot be contacted or are no longer active, the staff member may then allow you to claim the blocks/items.
g) Banned Player's Claims/Items
If a player that owns a claim is banned, it will be unclaimed, and any items will be seized by the server to be used for potential events/benevolence. If additional owners exist on a claim other than the banned player, the first in line will be asked to claim the land. If they do not have enough lands/claim chunks, the next person in line will be asked until all potential owners have been exhausted.
5. Staff or Server Disrespect
a) Disrespect of a Staff Member
While you may disagree with a staff member, arguing with them or a ruling is considered disrespect and will result in further punishment. If you have an issue with a staff member or their ruling, please open a #help-desk ticket where your issue can be addressed privately by members of the staff team.
b) Disrespect of the Server
Publicly bashing the server will result in a mute or a possible ban. If you have an issue with the server, please open a support ticket where your issue can be addressed privately by members of the staff team.
c) Threats Against the Server/Staff
Threats made against the server or its staff will result in an immediate and total ban from the server and its Discord.
6. Miscellaneous
a) DMs (Direct Messages)
Do not DM another player without asking permission in a public Discord channel first. You must have a response from the player before you send a DM - this is non-negotiable.
b) Server Events
Events will be organized through Game Leaders. If you have an idea or proposal for a community event, share your ideas via message with a Game Leader!
c) Other Issues
If you have an issue with another player, please reach out to a Game Leader or put in a ticket in #help-desk.
d) Multiple Accounts
Users can only be logged in with one account at a time, to conserve server resources.
7. In-Game Policies
a) Player Farms
Player farms are currently allowed since the server update. The only thing restricted are villager farms/breeders/trading halls, as they are very resource intensive. More details are in section 7.c below.
b) PWarp Policy
As of right now, players can create up to 5 warps using the /pwarp create [name] command. These warps are not to be used like /homes, as they are accessible to everyone in the server. Players should create these warps to allow other players to visit their claimed lands, or to lead to specific server-beneficial locations (enderman farm, piglin farm, etc).
- If a player is found to have used pwarp to create a warp point that leads to a random location, it will be moved to the "Subject to Deletion" category. Each week, players will be warned, and then all warps in this category will be deleted.
- Players should set a category for their warps after creating them. This is done by using the command
/pwarp category set [category name]and selecting one of the available pre-made categories (Houses, Farms).
c) Villager Trading Halls
Players are not permitted to construct personal villager trading halls, as there is a large number of villager traders available for public use at the mall (/pw mall or /warp mall). This is, once again, designed to keep down the amount of lag on the server. The buildings surrounded by green at the mall contain every villager trade you might need (including sticks โ emeralds).
d) Inventory Rollbacks
Inventory rollbacks are available to newer players on the server for 30 days after they complete the whitelist form (not after their first login date). Once that period has passed, rollbacks will only be offered in extreme circumstances and at the discretion of server staff.
โ ๏ธ Rule Violations & Consequences
Rule violations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Depending on severity, consequences may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the community. Serious violations (griefing, harassment, cheating, racial slurs, death threats) may result in immediate permanent bans.
Staff members reserve the right to adjust punishments based upon the severity of the situation and the offense committed.
